Samaritan Purse Gifts distributed at JLSS

The Alliance Evangelical Church in Beirut kept our school on the list of institutions to receive the Samaritan Purse gifts this year although we received them during the previous years. The church decided to distribute the gifts this year in schools that did not receive them before. JLSS was kept on the list due to the presence of very needy children in it.
The gifts were distributed to the children on Monday morning 6 April 2009. We apologize to the team from the Alliance church for starting the distribution of the gifts before they arrived. We thank them for taking the long trip from Beirut to come to our school. We also thank the Alliance Evangelical Church in Beirut and Samaritan Purse for those kind gifts that brought wonderful joy to our children.
