Alton Roberts Chemistry Awards 2015/2016

The Alton Roberts Chemistry Awards for the Academic Year 2015/2016 went to Kamal Azzam who won the first prize; and Giovanna Kaddoura and Acil Sati who shared the second prize.
These awards are in memory of the Rev. Dr. C. Alton Roberts who was a former teacher at JLSS and late president of the Lutheran Board for Mission Support - USA.
Kamal Azzam had the highest final average in Chemistry last year receiving the first award and a prize of US$ 50.00.
Both Giovanna Kaddoura and Acil Sati had exactly the same final average in Chemistry and thus shared the second prize getting awards and US$ 25 each. 
The three received their awards during the Salutation of the Flag assembly on Monday morning 7 November 2016.
